A widespread workshop for contemporary photography and visual culture

The name refers to intuition, an inner gaze, deep understanding. We chose it because we believe that contemporary photography is a living language, opening visions, creating connections, generating dialogue.

Every edition of the festival develops around a theme, a common leitmotif of shared questions on the contemporary world which allows artists and the public to experiment new forms of thought and listening.

With a focus on young and emerging artists, the festival is a political and cultural space open to a variety of voices, an ecosystem which puts the viewer at the centre as an active subject and defines the new generations of artists as bearers of vision and meaning.

Through contemporary photography, embraced in its hybrid forms with other languages, INSIGHT aims to nourish relationships between people, institutions and the surrounding area, reaffirming the power of the image as a tool for building a more informed, creative and shared future.
