Schools
INSIGHT offers secondary schools the opportunity to create a project exploring each year’s theme with the team’s support in organisation and curation, to be exhibited during the festival, featured in the official programme and presented to the public. Students are given the chance to take part in a high-profile cultural project, encouraging creativity, transversal skills and active participation.
Since 2021 over 500 students have collaborated and exhibited with us from a variety of schools:

INSIGHT offers work placements to students of Academies and Universities in project organisation, production and communication. In order to ensure both a professional and personal experience, students are placed in the festival team where they will work side by side with other students, with professionals from the sector, with artists and with the public. Students will find themselves in an environment open to debate and dialogue where they can express their own ideas and developing independent critical mind

Guided Tours
In line with the festival’s commitment to education, INSIGHT organises guided tours at specific times outside weekend openings. Aimed at both schools and the public, the tours are guided by team members who will explain each part of the exhibition, giving critical insight into the works on display and offering a more active experience.

Residences and Research
Starting from 2026, INSIGHT will offer practical support for working artists including residences and collective projects in collaboration with academies, specialised schools, associations, collectives and other bodies and institutions. Our goal is to promote and support young talent and mid-career professionals with a mentoring system and facilitated access to qualified exhibition circuits which become opportunities for personal and professional growth.

INSIGHT OUT
INSIGHT OUT is a local circuit involving independent artists, collectives, members of the public, associations, institutions and spaces who organise autonomous events relevant to the current festival’s theme. Born in 2021 from dialogue and synergies with local community groups, INSIGHT OUT highlights and gives visibility to artistic expression and the relationship between art and community.
