The theme of the sixth edition of INSIGHT Foto Festival is ABITO. In Italian, this word functions both as a noun and as a verb, opening up a field of reflection that encompasses the body, space, relationships, identity, and visual language.
ABITO is what we wear, but also the way we inhabit the world: our relationship with our image, with the places we live in, with the time we inhabit, and with the different forms of coexistence.
The theme invites us to explore the connection between appearance and belonging, between form and lived experience, between image and identity, while embracing different practices and perspectives.
Through its cross-disciplinary nature, ABITO encourages dialogue between contemporary photography and other artistic languages, supporting projects that interpret the present and create a shared space for critical reflection.
Admission to all exhibition spaces and participation in all INSIGHT events are FREE OF CHARGE.
EXHIBITION OPENING HOURS – All exhibitions will be open during the festival weekends (16–18 October and 23–25 October), from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The exhibitions hosted at Villa Mirabello (Sala Lucernario and Sala Ottagonale) will be open at the following times: Monday closed; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 am–12:30 pm; Friday and Saturday 9:30 am–12:30 pm and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm; Sunday 2:00 pm–6:00 pm.
